By creating an account or using OncoCrew (the "Service"), accessible at https://oncocrew.djmbase.com (also https://oncocrew.web.app), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use OncoCrew. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement. We do not knowingly permit accounts for individuals under 18.
OncoCrew is an informal messaging application designed for social communication between hospital colleagues, friends, and acquaintances. It supports one-to-one chats, group chats, voice messages, image sharing, and push notifications.
OncoCrew is not a clinical system, electronic health record, patient communication platform, or telemedicine service.
OncoCrew is NOT HIPAA-compliant and must NOT be used for Protected Health Information (PHI), clinical care coordination, or any healthcare-related communication subject to medical privacy laws.
Sharing PHI or using OncoCrew for clinical purposes is a violation of these Terms and may also violate HIPAA, GDPR, or other privacy laws. You are solely responsible for any such misuse.
You agree to use OncoCrew only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. You must not:
OncoCrew is not a source of medical advice. Any information, opinion, or content shared by users on the Service is personal communication and does not constitute medical, diagnostic, or treatment advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical questions. OncoCrew, its operators, and other users are not responsible for any decisions you make based on content shared on the Service.
Your Content: You retain ownership of the messages, images, and voice recordings you share on OncoCrew. By sharing content, you grant OncoCrew a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, transmit, and display that content solely for the purpose of operating the Service.
Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the content you share. You represent that you have all necessary rights to share any content you upload and that doing so does not violate the rights of any third party or any law.
Moderation: OncoCrew administrators may review reported messages, remove content, and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Users may also block and report other users or groups directly from within the app.
By You: You may delete your account at any time from the Profile tab using the Delete Account link. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone; see the Privacy Policy for details on what data is removed.
By Us: OncoCrew may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, share PHI, or use the Service unlawfully. We may also terminate accounts that have been inactive for an extended period.
Termination does not entitle you to any refund (the Service is currently provided free of charge). Provisions intended to survive termination (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnity) will remain in effect.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. OncoCrew does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components. To the maximum extent permitted by law, OncoCrew disclaims all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, OncoCrew, its operator(s), and contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. This includes damages arising from content shared by other users, unauthorized access to your account, or any third-party services (such as Google Firebase) on which OncoCrew relies.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless OncoCrew, its operator(s), and contributors from any claim, loss, or damages (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.
OncoCrew relies on Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Storage, Hosting, Cloud Messaging) for core functionality. Your use of these services is also governed by Google's terms and policies. OncoCrew is not responsible for the availability, performance, or policies of third-party services.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date and may be announced via an in-app notice. Your continued use of OncoCrew after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved in accordance with applicable law in the jurisdiction where OncoCrew is operated.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
